Started Taekwondo in 1983. Ms. Coffee's Instructor and good friend of 21 years is 7th degree Senior Master Rick Abair. Her original instructor was Mr. Stephen Trustscott. Other instructors include Master Advincula and Master Soki Kubota.

Ms. Coffee holds certifications for all of the ATA weapons and is also certified in Ground Fighting, Spontaneous Knife Defense, and Kubaton. Ms. Coffee consistently ranked in the Top Ten when she competed and is a 2002 World Champion in Weapons. Ms. Coffee is also part of the ATA Regional Certification Camps.
